Club Support

The Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Foundation offers clubs comprehensive support, including funding guidance and access, development workshops, mentoring, facility management advice, support for equality, diversity, and inclusion, and programs for disability cricket. We aim to help clubs improve their governance, facilities, coaching, and accessibility for all community members.

Funding & Finance:

  • Guidance on securing grants for coaches, equipment, and participation.
  • Information on ECB grant and loan schemes, including interest-free loans for facility improvements.
  • Help navigating other relevant funding bodies and tips for successful applications.

Club Development:

  • Online and face-to-face workshops covering all aspects of club management.
  • Support with Clubmark accreditation for high-quality clubs.

Facilities:

  • Guidance on managing and maintaining playing, practice, and off-field facilities.
  • Information on the ECB Grass Pitch Improvement Fund to enhance playing surfaces.

Inclusion & Community:

  • A comprehensive disability programmewith activities like table cricket and multi-skills.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within communities.
  • Initiatives to create mental health-friendly clubs by providing safe, inclusive spaces.

Coaching & Volunteering:

  • Training for new coaches and support for volunteer development.
  • Efforts to remove cost barriers and encourage participation, particularly for women and girls.
