L&RCF Schools

While the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Foundation (L&RCF) delivers many of its core programmes free of charge through grant funding (e.g., Chance to Shine), it also offers bespoke, paid services to schools who wish to provide additional, expert coaching.

What We Can Offer Your School

Our skilled and qualified coaches can work with your school to design a bespoke cricket programme to meet your specific needs. This can include:

  • PE Curriculum Delivery: Our coaches can take curriculum time to deliver high-quality, engaging cricket sessions for your pupils, providing PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover for your staff.
  • After-School Clubs:Engage more students with fun and active cricket sessions delivered straight after the school day ends. These can be run as girls-only or mixed sessions.
  • Team Training & Management: Prepare your school teams for competitions with specialised coaching. Our coaches can also support with team management during fixtures.
  • Teacher CPD (Additional): While free CPD is offered with the funded Chance to Shine programme, we can offer additional, bespoke training sessions to your staff, focusing on areas you need most.
  • Events Management: We can help you organise and deliver cricket festivals or tournaments, either within your school or in partnership with other local schools.

Payment: All paid services are subject to a fee. This will be agreed upon during your consultation with our team and will depend on the programme duration, number of coaches required, and resources needed.

School Commitment: Your school will be expected to provide the necessary facilities and support to ensure the smooth delivery of the programme.
