SEND Delivery

The L&RCF, in partnership with the Lord's Taverners charity, is dedicated to making cricket accessible and inclusive for all young people, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our disability cricket programme works with schools to provide engaging, adapted cricket sessions that help students develop physical and social skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Our Offer: Cricket in SEND Schools

  • Table Cricket:An adapted version of cricket is played on a table tennis table and is designed for participants with complex physical and learning disabilities. The L&RCF delivers half a term (approximately six weeks) of Table Cricket coaching to students aged 8 to 25 in SEND schools and schools with a Designated Specialist Provision unit (DSP).
  • Inclusive Cricket and Multi-skills:We offer a variety of formats, including inclusive cricket and multi-skills activities, to ensure all students can participate in an appropriate way.
  • Pathway to Community Clubs:The programme encourages students to transition from school-based sessions to community-based cricket settings, such as our Super 1sprogramme.
  • Competition Opportunities:Participants have the chance to compete in county competitions.
